Mr. Gun Bo Park, Chairman

Mr. Park and his family founded and operated BooSan Chemical Ltd. Co. in Busan, South Korea. BooSan Chemical manufactured shoes for Nike, Reebok, Converse, New Balance, and others in the 1980's until the industry moved to Southeast Asian countries. In 1985, the South Korean President recognized Mr. Park's contribution to the country's business and awarded his company the "Bronze Medal."

Mr. Park ventured into real estate development in the 1990's with the development of industrial warehouses in Busan, South Korea. Since then, Mr. Park has invested in real estate opportunities throughout South Korea, Japan, Oregon and Arizona. In 1999, Mr. Park and his family formed G&S International, LLC as a real estate investment entity.

In 2004, Mr. Park formed Parkland Development to further acquisitions and development in the western US region.

 

Ms. Su Moran, President

Ms. Moran joins Parkland development with more than 30 years of national and international Banking and Finance industry experience. Ms. Moran was a Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank where she was responsible for managing relations and developing high net worth clients for the Private Banking Wealth Management Group. Ms. Moran was also the founder and Vice President of Wells Fargo NW Region Emerging Markets initiative, where she developed a marketing and service organization targeting all Asian business and consumer segments.

Ms. Moran also brings over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate and mortgage banking. She is a co-founder of Korean American Citizens League and a founder of Asian Connection Resource Group of the NW Region. She currently sits on the board of directors for Oregon Korea Foundation. Ms. Moran was selected one of eight women "who are changing the profiles of leadership in Oregon" - Oregon Business, 2003; "Women Defining Success" - Vancouver Business Journal, 2002;

Ms. Moran received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Bellevue University, Nebraska, and is a Graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington with an Honors Thesis selected for inclusion in the school's Permanent Library.

 

James H. Kyung, In House Counsel

Mr. Kyung has practiced business and real estate law for ten years in the Portland, Oregon area and serves as general legal counsel for Parkland Development.

Mr. Kyung's construction and development experience began with the development of a 326-unit luxury apartment complex called Wilsonville Summit Apartments located in Wilsonville, Oregon. He assisted the owner of the property in all phases of the development, including but not limited to financing and construction. More recent projects include the development of a 55,000 square foot Whole Foods Market in Tualatin, Oregon.

Mr. Kyung is a member of the Oregon State Bar and specializes in business and real estate transactions. He has passed the uniform CPA exam and has experience in public accounting with Arthur Andersen. He received his B.A. degree in economics from UCLA, Los Angeles California, and J.D. degree from Willamette University, Salem Oregon.

 

Jerry Park, Vice President

Jerry Park has been working with G&S International, LLC, the parent company of Parkland Development, since its inception in 1999. Jerry's work involves real estate acquisition, property management, development coordination, investment transactions, as well as private asset management in South Korea and Japan. His background includes a position as Director of Operations for a marketing firm in South Korea. Currently Jerry is a general contractor and owner of PAC Development, LLC.

Jerry has a B.S. and Post Baccalaureate from Portland State University.
